Teaching Assistant

We are looking for a Teaching Assistantto support our Primary classes. The successful candidate will work closely with teachers to support students learning, development, wellbeing and day-to-day classroom activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the class teacher in helping students achieve their social, personal and academic goals.

• Work closely with the class teacher and follow the daily lesson plans, routines and classroom activities.

• Observe students and identify those who may require additional support, and work with the class teacher on appropriate ways to assist them.

• Assist with preparing teaching and learning resources and displaying students work.

• Attend staff briefings, training sessions and professional development activities as required.

• Undertake supervisory duties outside the classroom when required by the Principal, Head of Section or Deputies.

• Ensure the safety and security of students at all times.

• Promote and uphold the core values of Taylor's Education Group (TEG) and encourage students to reflect these values.

• Carry out other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Principal, Head of Section or Deputies.

Job Requirements

• MinimumSPM, STPM, A Level, Pre-U, Professional Certificate in Education/Teaching/Training or equivalent.

• Good command of written and spokenEnglish.

• At least1 year of experience working with children, preferably in an international school.

• Caring, patient and responsible, with a genuine interest in supporting children's learning and development.

• Able to work collaboratively as part of a teaching team.
