POSITION SUMMARY
This role is responsible for the end-to-end design, governance, and continuous improvement of global banking processes within Shared Service Centers (SSC), driving standardization and efficiency across regions. The role also includes maintaining and controlling the Bank accounts within SAP (Cash Management), processing bank accounting transactions on a daily basis following Company's processes and procedures.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
This position is accountable for the following:
1. Managerial Support & Escalation Handling
- Assist the Manager with reviewing controls, KPIs, and escalated issues.
- Help distribute workload and provide oversight where needed.
2. Team Guidance & Coaching
- Provide daytoday guidance to team members.
- Support junior staff, ensure process understanding, and help troubleshoot complex items.
3.Continue to refine Direct Debit operating design based on adoption/defects to improve cycle time and firstpass yield.
4. Control Review & Issue Management
- Review significant postings and ensure highvalue or sensitive transactions are managed properly.
- Help monitor and analyze balance fluctuations, especially cash accounts.
5. Audit & Compliance Support
-Assist in responding to audit queries with accurate and timely documentation.
-Maintain SOX compliance for banking activities.
6. Reporting & KPI Monitoring
- Support preparation or review of banking KPIs.
- Monitor team performance quality and timeliness.
7. Support for Future Team Structure & Capability Building
- Contribute to succession planning, identifying high performers for development and progression.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
1. The incumbent is expected to have bachelor's degree in accounting or finance. Obtaining qualified accountant profession will be a plus.
2. Job incumbent is expected to have over 5 years working experiences in MNC or audit firm (preferability 1-2 years similar working exposure), with more than 2 years in people/ team management role. SAP systems will be a plus.
3. The incumbent needs to have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, humble to learn and desire to coach, customer focus, change management and strategy mindset, and a proven ability to effectively solve the problems in the daily operation. Good leadership skill to assign tasks, manage, motivate and develop the team members.
4. Be able to handle and prioritize important/urgent situations, can work under pressure.
5. Languages requirement: fluent in English both oral and written, and professional in Chinese languagespeak, read and write in Chinese is a plus.
6. Job incumbent should be well verse with IT skill and automation mindset.
