Lead, coach, and develop a team of AML Ongoing Review Analysts
Allocate workloads and monitor productivity to meet SLA and regulatory timelines
Conduct regular one‑to‑ones, performance reviews, and training needs assessments
Act as escalation point for complex or high‑risk cases
Support onboarding and training of new staff and contribute to knowledge-sharing initiatives.
Drive process improvements, automation initiatives, and remediation programs to enhance efficiency and quality.
Stay abreast of regulatory developments, emerging financial crime risks, and industry best practices.
AML Ongoing Review Oversight
Ensure accurate completion of periodic KYC reviews, trigger‑based reviews, and risk reassessments
Review and approve analysts work, ensuring consistency and quality
Ensure customer risk ratings are accurately assessed and justified
Identify gaps in customer information and ensure remediation actions are completed
Advanced Customer Due Diligence & Risk Assessment
Lead complex, high-risk, and enhanced due diligence (EDD) ongoing reviews, including customers with intricate ownership structures, cross-border exposure, PEPs, and high-risk industries.
Conduct and approve risk-based reassessments of customer risk ratings, including justification and documentation for changes.
Assess adequacy of source of wealth (SOW), source of funds (SOF), and transactional rationale for ongoing customer relationships.
Ensure ongoing reviews are completed in line with regulatory timelines and internal service level agreements (SLAs).
Quality Assurance & Risk Management
Perform QA checks and thematic reviews to identify trends and control weaknesses
Drive continuous improvement to reduce errors, rework, and regulatory risk
Ensure adherence to internal AML policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
Support internal audits, compliance reviews, and regulatory examinations
Stakeholder & Escalation Management
Liaise with Compliance, Financial Crime, Risk, and Business teams on AML matters
Escalate material AML risks, suspicious activities, or control issues appropriately
Support Suspicious Transaction Report (STR) referrals where identified
Reporting & Governance
Prepare and present management information (MI) on team performance, quality, and risk trends
Track key AML metrics such as overdue reviews, high‑risk customers, and remediation status
Contribute to policy updates and procedural enhancements
Identify control gaps, recurring deficiencies, and trends arising from ongoing reviews.
Job Requirements
Min 8 years of experience in AML/KYC, financial crime compliance, or customer due diligence, with significant exposure to ongoing or periodic reviews.
Bachelor's degree in finance, Banking, Business, Law, Economics, or related field.
Professional certifications such as Certification in AML-CFT/ Advanced Certification in AML CFT/ or equivalent are strongly preferred
Strong understanding of Segment Business, Documentation standards and Regulatory Compliance expectations.
Strong analytical and investigative skills to identify data inconsistencies and validation gaps.
Familiarity with core banking systems, onboarding platforms and screening tools.
Knowledge of customer risk assessment frameworks and ongoing due diligence requirements
