About The Role

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Team Lead, Transaction Banking - Corporate & Commercial Cash Sales 1 to drive our Transaction Banking (TB) Corporate & Commercial Cash Sales agenda. In this leadership role, you will be responsible for shaping regional strategy, leading sales execution, and overseeing complex corporate cash solutions to deliver sustainable growth. You will work closely with internal stakeholders and key clients to originate business, optimize portfolio performance, and ensure strong governance standards are upheld.

What You Will Be Doing

Strategy & Planning

  • Build a deep understanding of customers business needs, portfolio behavior, competitor threats, and market opportunities
  • Plan and execute relevant strategies on target business and customers for the region/team
  • Lead the team to drive and originate the Bank's key focus business, providing senior oversight on strategic and complex corporate cash deals
  • Report Circle progress regularly to relevant stakeholders

Sales & Marketing

  • Review and execute client value propositions, proposals, solutions, and product bundling for target customers
  • Collaborate closely with GCBB/CCM, Business Circles, Product Squads, and Service Partner/Operations to deliver customized solutions
  • Manage and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers of target customers
  • Oversee and maintain an up-to-date pipeline report to track sales activities and close deal opportunities
  • Govern pipeline quality, forecasting, and execution standards

People & Stakeholder Management

  • Provide coaching and guidance to team members on NTB customer acquisition, solution structuring, and product upselling to optimize account profitability and achieve KPIs
  • Maintain strong engagement with GCBB/CCM RMs, GTB Product Squads, Service Partner/Operations, and Branches to drive origination and sales initiatives
  • Provide feedback on market developments, competitor capabilities, and product gaps to internal stakeholders for continuous improvement
  • Organize and chair regular account planning sessions and reviews with GCBB/CCM RMs
  • Partner with Circle Lead and relevant stakeholders to ensure team success in achieving performance targets
  • Align team objectives within the Circle and act as an escalation point for major deals, pricing, or stakeholder matters

Governance

  • Strictly comply with the Bank's product guidelines, policies, procedures, and processes as issued by Product and Policy owners
  • Ensure full compliance with BNM guidelines and all mandatory Bank e-Learning requirements, including but not limited to Management of Customer Information & Permitted Disclosure, Personal Data Protection, Responsible Financing, Fair Treatment of Financial Customers, and Imposition of Fees and Charges on Financial Products and Services
  • Consistently achieve strong audit ratings

  • Proven track record in driving sales performance and managing complex corporate cash solutions
  • Strategic thinker with strong market awareness and competitor insights
  • Excellent stakeholder management and relationship-building skills
  • Strong analytical, planning, and organizational capabilities
  • High integrity with strong knowledge of regulatory and compliance standards
