Job Summary: The Team Leader - Stewarding oversees daily stewarding operations by ensuring cleanliness, hygiene, and sanitation standards are maintained in all kitchen and back-of-house areas, while supervising dishwashing activities, waste management, inventory control, and compliance with food safety and workplace safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily operations, ensuring kitchen equipment, China, glassware, and flatware are cleaned and sanitized to high standards.
• Monitor cleanliness in stewarding areas, including dishwashing, storage, and garbage disposal.
• Ensure proper handling and storage of cleaning chemicals and equipment, and assist with stock replenishment.
• Enforce hygiene and safety standards, ensuring compliance with health regulations.
• Oversee waste disposal, ensuring environmental and safety guidelines are followed.
• Report equipment malfunctions to the Chief Steward for prompt resolution.
  
  

Skills And Qualifications

• Experience in Stewarding or a similar role is preferred.
• Knowledge of cleaning procedures, chemicals, and safety protocols.
• Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays.
