Business Analyst (Technology) – Insurance Industry Kuala Lumpur | Contract-12 months | Malaysian Preferred

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Technology Business Analyst to bridge the gap between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring requirements are clearly defined, documented, and delivered to the highest standard. The ideal candidate has a strong background in the insurance industry and is comfortable operating across both business and technical environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams, managing requirements, expectations, and driving end-to-end technical delivery
• Analyse and document business processes and functions, translating complex business requirements into clear functional and technical specifications
• Lead and participate in test planning and execution activities, ensuring solutions are thoroughly validated before deployment
• Provide post-rollout production support, monitoring system performance and resolving issues in a timely manner
• Track and monitor project status, providing accurate and timely progress reports to relevant stakeholders
• Proactively identify gaps, risks, and opportunities for improvement throughout the project lifecycle

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Technology Business Analyst
• Experience in the insurance industry is strongly preferred
• Strong ability to understand technical details and translate them into business-friendly documentation
• Proven experience in test planning, UAT coordination, and production support
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills
• Malaysian citizen preferred
