Job Description

Job Title: Technical Admin (EV Charging Infrastructure)

Job Summary/Objective:

The Technical Admin is responsible to provide high-level administrative and technical support for the end-to-end installation and maintenance of EV charging stations. The merging administrative efficiency with technical knowledge of electrical systems, permitting, and safety standards. These roles are critical for coordinating site surveys, ensuring compliance with regulations, and supporting installation crews.

Responsibilities and Duties:

Technical Coordinator / Operations Admin (EV Industry)

  • Manages day-to-day administrative tasks, including documentation, regulatory compliance, scheduling installations, and coordinating with technicians and clients.
  • Ensuring all installations meet safety codes and local regulations
  • Supports project engineers by maintaining site survey data, managing project calendars, and coordinating between project managers and installation subcontractors.

Project Administrator (EV Infrastructure)

  • Manages the documentation and permitting processes for charger installations, updates software/hardware systems, and maintains maintenance records for charging sites.

Customer Care Officer (Technical Support)

  • Acts as the first point of contact for inquiries, troubleshooting technical issues, addressing user issues, providing basic technical support, and managing data on charge point usage.

Parts & Warranty Executive

  • Manages the technical inventory, orders specialized parts, and handles warranty claims, tracking, and repairs for damaged charging units.
  • Monitoring charger deployment and maintenance status

Site Survey Planner

  • Collects technical data during site assessments (e.g., electrical capacity, layout) and prepares documentation for electrical engineers to develop installation plans.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related technical field.
  • Experience:2–3 years of experience in technical administration, project coordination, or the renewable energy sector.
  • Valid driving license and willingness to travel frequently to various site locations.
