Technical Business Analyst

Role Purpose: The Technical Business Analyst will act as the bridge between business stakeholders, compliance users, production support teams, change teams, and external vendors. The role is focused on understanding surveillance objectives, converting business needs into clear technical requirements, driving production readiness, managing risks, and ensuring platform changes are delivered with proper governance and operational acceptance.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop a strong understanding of communication surveillance business objectives, compliance requirements, and platform functionality.
• Work closely with business stakeholders, compliance teams, technology teams, vendors, and CTB teams to capture and clarify requirements.
• Translate business requirements into user stories, functional specifications, operational requirements, and acceptance criteria.
• Champion production readiness and License to Operate requirements for new releases, enhancements, and platform changes.
• Coordinate with production support and change teams to ensure support model, monitoring, documentation, access, capacity, resilience, and recovery requirements are in place before go-live.
• Track risks, issues, dependencies, enhancements, and business priorities through JIRA or equivalent tools.
• Maintain clear documentation in Confluence, including process flows, operating models, support procedures, business rules, and stakeholder updates.
• Support vendor coordination, escalation management, project follow-ups, and delivery tracking.
• Prepare stakeholder presentations, status updates, operational metrics, and management reports using PowerPoint, Excel, and other reporting tools.
• Take ownership of assigned initiatives by coordinating cross-functional teams, removing blockers, and ensuring timely delivery of agreed outcomes.

Must-Have Skills

• Strong experience as a Technical Business Analyst, Production Services Lead, or Platform Coordinator in financial services or capital markets technology.
• Good understanding of production support, ITIL processes, change management, production readiness, and operational risk controls.
• Ability to engage with business, compliance, technology, vendor, and operations stakeholders.
• Experience documenting requirements, user stories, process flows, support models, and operational procedures.
• Working knowledge of JIRA, Confluence, PowerPoint, and Excel.
• Strong communication, presentation, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and drive progress across complex technology environments.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with communication surveillance platforms such as Smarsh Enterprise Conduct, Csurv, Theta Lake, or similar tools.
• Knowledge of Capital Markets, sales tooling, regulatory compliance, surveillance operations, or compliance monitoring processes.
• Exposure to monitoring, batch scheduling, databases, Linux/Unix, and application support concepts.
• Experience supporting agile delivery, service transition, vendor management, and disaster recovery coordination.
