Technical Business Analyst (Treasury & Markets, Tokenisation - Platform, Custody & Infrastructure)

Key Responsibilities

• Technical & Functional Analysis: Conduct technical analysis of business and functional requirements, translating them into clear specifications and solution designs.
• Systems Integration: Partner with technical stakeholders to analyse and define how tokenisation platforms, blockchain/DLT networks and related digital-asset systems integrate with CIMB's existing technology ecosystem, considering system architecture, security, data flows and other relevant requirements.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Product, Technology, Operations, Risks and other stakeholders to develop practical and scalable technical solutions.
• Proactive Delivery & Risk Management: Drive technical deliverables, proactively identifying potential bottlenecks, technical dependencies, risks or delivery issues, and communicating them early to ensure timely execution / delivery.
• System Evolution: Support the design and implementation of modifications or enhancements to existing applications and integration layers to enable tokenisation, smart contract execution and digital-asset use cases.
• Architecture & Design Contribution: Partner with technical stakeholders and contribute to solution architecture discussions, advocating for modern, secure, scalable and resilient technology designs.

Key Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, Computer Science, Law, or a related discipline.
• Professional certifications in financial markets, risk management, or digital assets (e.g., CFA, FRM, or blockchain-related certifications) are an advantage.
• 6–10 years of experience in one or more of the following areas:
• Treasury & Markets
• Transaction Banking
• Technology or digital transformation
• Risk, Compliance, Legal, or Regulatory functions
• Good understanding of:
• API and system integration
• Distributed systems and/or DLT-related technologies
• Custody and wallet management concepts
• Operational and reconciliation processes
• Technical Foundation: Proven experience in a technical role such as Software Engineering, Technical Systems Analysis, Solution Architecture or similar technical role.
• Digital Asset and Tokenisation Domain Knowledge: Strong conceptual understanding of blockchain, DLT, smart contracts and tokenisation. Practical experience in blockchain, tokenisation or digital assets projects is preferred.
• Modern Architecture Design: Experience working with APIs, microservices, event-driven architectures, messaging platforms and distributed systems. Understanding of high-availability, resilient and secure enterprise architectures.
• Enterprise Systems: Experience designing, developing or supporting secure, scalable and highly resilient enterprise applications.
• Financial Services: Experience in banking and financial services, with exposure to capital markets, payments, securities services or other financial infrastructure preferred. Understanding of the security, resilience, governance and regulatory considerations associated with financial systems
