Job Description

Job Description:

• Product Development

o Identify and develop new products, formulations and applications based on market needs.

o Support commercialization of successfully developed products.

• Technical Support

o Provide technical support to customers, sales teams and internal departments.

o Troubleshoot product/application problems and recommend suitable technical solutions.

• Project Management

o Lead and coordinate technical development projects from pipeline through commercialization.

o Establish development timelines, testing requirements and project milestones.

o Track project progress and provide regular updates to management.

• Customer Development

o Work closely with key customers to understand technical requirements and application needs.

o Participate in customer visits and technical discussions.

o Support sales activities by providing technical input and product solutions.

• Quality and Compliance

o Ensure new and existing products meet required technical specifications quality standards.

o Review technical documents such as TDS, SDS, COA, Test report.

o Support regulatory and other relevant compliance requirements where applicable.

• Supplier & Principal Technical Coordination

o Liaise with raw material suppliers, manufacturers on technical matters.

o Obtain and review technical documentation and product information.

• Documentation & Reporting

o Maintain proper records of test results, customer trials and development projects.

o Prepare presentations to management for development summaries.

• Team & Laboratory Management

o Supervise and guide technical/chemist where applicable.

Position Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry, Science, Chemical Engineering or any other related fields.

• Relevant experience in chemical/specialty chemical industry.

• Good knowledge of chemical properties and product applications.

• Able to translate technical requirements into commercially viable products.

• Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.

• Good understanding of product costing and commercialization feasibility.

• Good project planning, coordination and follow-up skills.

• Willing to travel for customer visit, outstation and market development as required.
