Job Description

As an E-Business Consultant, you will be part of a customer-focused team that acts as the bridge between Würth companies worldwide and our development department. You collect, prioritise and help shape the requirements of your customers, taking ownership of their Würth Online Shop journey from initial consulting through to ongoing support.

Working closely with Würth companies across different countries and cultures, you will manage requirements, drive projects and support stakeholders spanning multiple locations and time zones. This position requires comprehensive e-business expertise, strong project ownership and excellent communication skills, and offers real development opportunities towards both technical specialization and project leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Consulting: Consult and support Würth companies worldwide on strategic and operational aspects of the Würth Online Shop and answer customer requests regarding the platform and its feature portfolio.
  • Technical Support: Handle technical e-business enquiries via the central ticketing system, analyse requirements and incidents and create solution concepts.
  • Rollout Management: Take ownership of international rollout and optimisation projects for Würth companies worldwide, acting as project lead where required, and managing the full project lifecycle from analysis and setup through to implementation, documentation, training and go-live.
  • Process Analysis: Analyse local sales processes of Würth companies and position standardised e-business solutions in a targeted and effective way.
  • Stakeholder Interface: Act as the key interface between international key users and the product management team for new requirements and further developments of the online shop platform.
  • Post-Go-Live Support: Advise Würth companies after project completion and provide support in complex operational and technical cases.
  • Expertise Development: Build and maintain deep functional and technical expertise in the e-business landscape to continuously improve consulting quality and platform knowledge.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with product owners, developers, SAP ERP teams and business stakeholders to deliver end-to-end solutions across locations and time zones.
  • Documentation: Maintain project documentation, solution concepts, training materials and knowledge articles related to the Würth Online Shop and rollout activities.

Qualifications

  • Education: Completed degree in Business Informatics, Computer Science, E-Commerce or a comparable qualification; equivalent qualifications based on substantial practical experience are also considered.
  • Experience: More than 3 years of specific work experience in large-scale B2B e-commerce environments, with comprehensive knowledge in consulting, rollout management and online shop operations.
  • E-Commerce Platform: Hands-on experience with SAP Commerce Cloud (Hybris) or comparable enterprise e-commerce platforms such as Magento, Salesforce Commerce Cloud or Shopify Plus; good understanding of SAP integrations, particularly in the SAP SD module, is an advantage.
  • Project Ownership: Proven ability to take ownership of complex international rollout and optimization projects, working largely independently and driving results across multiple stakeholders, with proficiency in agile project management tools such as Jira and Confluence.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and structured problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex requirements and translate them into practical solutions.
  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to handle and implement strategic topics within the subject area, define improvements and coordinate with the supervisor where needed.
  • Communication: Excellent communication skills with a genuine passion for collaborating with international teams and stakeholders across different time zones and cultures.
  • Language: Excellent English is required; German language skills can be an advantage.
  • Travel: Willingness to travel internationally for up to one week every two months, depending on project and rollout needs.
