Key Purpose
This position is responsible for the technical design, review, and optimization of prefabricated substation solutions for overseas projects. This role supports bidding and sales activities by developing competitive, reliable, and standards-compliant engineering solutions. It also focuses on integrating international best practices to improve product performance and competitiveness.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct technical reviews for overseas projects, including system configuration and technical evaluation of prefabricated substation solutions.
- Participate in the development and execution of product design and engineering plans, including the design, integration, and optimization of prefabricated substations.
- Optimize design solution to enhance bid competitiveness through cost-effective, reliable, and technically sound prefabricated substation solutions tailored to project requirements.
- Integrate international engineering best practices and state-of-the-art to continuously enhance the performance, reliability, quality, and competitiveness of CHINT's prefabricated substation solutions.
- Develop customized engineering solutions including specialized prefabricated substation configurations and modular system designs.
- Provide comprehensive technical recommendations and system-level solutions, ensuring solution complies with applicable international standards, industry codes, project specifications and local practices.
- Support the sales team with technical evaluations, clarifications, and ongoing technical assistance related to prefabricated substations and associated power systems.
- Define technical parameters and lead the preparation, review, and validation of bidding documentation, including detailed specifications for prefabricated substations.
- Experience in delivering solutions for the data center and renewable energy segments (e.g., solar, wind, energy storage) is highly preferred
- Perform other ad-hoc duties and technical assignments as required.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Power System or related discipline.
- Minimum 3-5 years working experience in related functional or professional field, product technical support engineer experience.
- Proficient in computer operation and network use skills, proficient in Office software.
- Knowledge of technical marketing skills; Master the structure of the product.
- Proficient in English with strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Previous experience in data center and renewable energy projects (such as solar, wind, and energy storage) would be beneficial.
