Technical Manager

Technical

• Overseeing the team's quality/effectiveness/timeliness of design, testing and project stages
• Propose/Review both commercial and technical aspect on tender/RFQ/RFP packages
• Provide clear direction and technical expertise in design, development, process and systems integration.
• Able to create economics of design solutions and provide actionable feedback relating to technical-cost benefit optimization to improve the efficiency/effectiveness of project rollout
• Able to work collaboratively with external/internal stakeholders for alignment/resolving issues.
• To ensure the compliance of technical procedures, policies and documentation requirements across project phases.

Management

• Identify resource and equipment requirements, efficient resources/process optimization within budget and schedule.
• Able to create technical training contents to improve the overall technical competencies at organization level
• Strategize and execute development plans and revise as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements.

Requirements

• Minimum Bachelor of Degree in Electrical Engineering
• SEDA GCPV PV System Design qualified or equivalent.
• Minimum 6 years of experience in PV industry.
• Experience in electrical power system and medium voltage system is added advantage.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in leading/supervising/managing a team in the relevant field, including development work and interaction with customers
• Excellent problem-solving skills & strategic thinker.
