Technical Marketing developer

Responsibilities:

Be hands on with testing and evaluating software components for Open Edge Platform.

Act like customer-zero and review and provide feedback into documentation such as user guides, github readme's etc. for smooth out-of-box developer experience

Build compelling demos that can be showcased at events, to customers, and to developers and help them understand the values of technologies

Partner with product marketing to drive release launches, and messaging for key releases.

Interact and collaborate with engineering to help drive key release features into messaging and highlight those through curated content, such as blogs, demos, etc.

Prepare presentations and webinars, help with developing and delivering developer training and workshops that demonstrate the value of technologies

Collaborate with partner marketing and sales on partner enablement content development, event support, etc.

Travel up to 10% of the time to developer and/or partner events, conferences, workshops

Required Qualifications:

BS in CS or Computer Engineering or other technical degree.

2+ years of experience working with developers (creating content such as code, blog, and video is a plus).

5+ years of overall experience in the field.

Ways to stand out:

MS or higher degree in Engineering or Computer Science or equivalent. Potentially a business or marketing degree along with it.

A self-starter with excellent communication skills with demonstrated public speaking, writing and publishing (blogs, whitepapers, etc.), and video production experience.

Strong coding skills in creating customized demos for customers/developers.

Ability to create content and educate a diverse set of audiences ranging from beginning to advanced.

Understanding of edge computing and IoT solutions and deployment at scale
