Role Description

This is a full-time, field-based Sales Engineer role based in Bukit Mertajam, covering customers across Peninsular Malaysia.

You will be responsible for driving sales growth, managing existing accounts, and developing new business opportunities in factories, system integrators, and OEM markets.

This role involves frequent customer visits, understanding real application needs, and recommending suitable instrumentation solutions. You will play a key role in positioning Celectric as a trusted partner—not just a supplier.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive sales revenue and achieve assigned targets
  • Develop new customers while managing and growing existing accounts
  • Conduct regular site visits to understand customer processes and requirements
  • Recommend suitable process instrumentation solutions (flow, pressure, level, etc.)
  • Prepare quotations, follow up, and close sales opportunities
  • Build strong relationships with engineers, purchasers, and decision-makers
  • Coordinate with internal teams and suppliers to ensure smooth execution
Qualifications
  • Diploma or Degree in Engineering (Electrical, Electronic, Mechanical, or related field)
  • 1–3 years experience in sales or industrial environment is preferred
  • Fresh graduates with strong interest in technical sales are encouraged to apply
Skills & Attributes
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Sales-driven and target-oriented mindset
  • Able to work independently in a field-based role
  • Willing to travel across Peninsular Malaysia
  • Basic knowledge or interest in industrial instrumentation is an advantage
