About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic and results-drivenTechnical Sales Engineerto join our team, specializing in the sales ofAutomated Optical Inspection (AOI) machines. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving sales, providing technical expertise, and building strong relationships with customers in the electronics manufacturing industry.

What you'll be doing

  1. Engage in technical consultations with customers to understand their specific needs and requirements.
  2. Provide pre-sales technical support, including product specifications, applications, system integration, and recommendations on the most suitable products and solutions.
  3. Collaborate with the engineering team to develop customized solutions for complex customer requirements.
  4. Prepare detailed proposals and technical specifications for customer presentations.
  5. Participate in trade shows, conferences, and other marketing events to promote the company's offerings.
  6. Maintain strong relationships with existing customers and proactively identify new business opportunities.
  7. Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitors to ensure the company remains at the forefront of the market.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field, with a strong technical background in the semiconductor industry.
  • Proven ability to effectively communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to identify and provide tailored solutions for customer needs.
  • Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills to build and maintain long-term customer relationships.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and customer-oriented.
  • Willingness to travel as needed to meet clients and attend industry events

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong technical knowledge of AOI systems, machine vision, or related automation technologies.
  • 3-5 years of experience in a technical sales, preferably in automated inspection equipment or semiconductor/electronics manufacturing.
