Job Description

Responsible for monitoring and troubleshooting manufacturing processes during shift operations. Ensure product quality, equipment reliability, and adherence to safety and production standards.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Maintaining the smooth operation of production through monitoring of process parameters, product quality, and yield performance during shift.
  • Detect and respond to abnormal process conditions or equipment alarms.
  • Escalate issues to engineers/technicians-in-charge and assist in containment actions.
  • Support root cause analysis for process deviations and quality issues.
  • Monitor equipment performance indicators and implement corrective actions to address deviations from performance targets.
  • Adhere to all safety regulations and protocols while performing maintenance and repair tasks, ensuring a safe working environment for all team members.
  • Record production data, process logs, and abnormal events accurately.
  • Handover shift reports to the next team with clear communication of ongoing issues.

Qualifications

  • Diploma in Mechanical Engineering/Chemical Engineering/Mechatronic Engineering/Manufacturing Engineering
  • Working experience: 3 years and above

PREFERRED:

  • Able to manage routine workload and ad-hoc projects with minimal supervision.
  • Able to work independently as well as a team member.
  • Able to converse and write well in English.

SKILLS

  • Dynamic and strategic thinking during day-to-day activities.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills, initiative, independent, good communication and interpersonal skills.
