Technician

Duties and Responsibilities:

• PDI & Quality Inspection
• Perform all Quality Inspection at VPC (PD), Buy Off, JIA).
• Inspect Long Storage Vehicles according to SOP/WI.
• Improvise inspection methods and procedures (QP) and mentor technicians.
• Handle PDI for PROTON E-MAS, PRO NET SMART, BYD DENZA D9.

• Vehicle Maintenance & Support
• Maintain Long Storage Vehicles, including battery charging (12V/HV).
• Support Proton vehicle export preparation, logic systems, and electric vehicles (Audi, Smart, BYD, Emas).
• Carry out accessories fitment training and support DVTS system.

• Container & Logistics Handling
• Container Unstuffing: Unload vehicles from containers and move from ramp.
• Receiving: Inspect incoming Emas 5/7/7PHEV, Isuzu, Mitsubishi, Smart #1/#3/#5, BYD Denza, Audi, Honda.

Requirements:

• Relevant experience required: 2-3 years in Automotive PDI, Long Storage, or related Quality role.
• Min Diploma in Automotive Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Certificate with 3 years relevant experience.
• Skills: MS Excel, MS Word
• Criteria: Interested in vehicle accessories, able to operate vehicle under pressure, long hours, and independently.
