As a Technician III supporting Finishing Engineering team, you will be trusted to execute planned preventive maintenance in timely manner and respond to any unplanned equipment downtime to ensure overall operations safety, product quality and machine performance are kept at highest standards at Johor. In this role, a typical day will include:
- Handle technical tasks related to planning, designing, and implementing maintenance programs to optimize facility and equipment availability and productivity
- Assist in coordinating maintenance engineering work and liaise with production staff to coordinate repair work, statutory safety inspections, and the supply of new plant and equipment with production schedules
- Review mechanical and electrical engineering specifications and assess new equipment designs for reliability, ease of maintenance, and availability of replacement parts
- Participate in the installation and commissioning of new equipment
- Make decisions within the scope of your tasks, requiring advanced technical skills and problem-solving abilities
- Adhere to GxP regulations by strictly following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), maintaining accurate and complete documentation, ensuring rigorous quality control, and completing all required training
- Meet individual job requirements and contribute to the overall compliance of the organization, committing to continuous improvement and compliance with regulatory requirements
- Education: Diploma in Engineering (+1 year relevant experiences)
- Advanced Certificate: Certificate in Engineering (+3 years relevant experiences)
- 5 years of experience in Manufacturing.
- Experience in medical devices environment is preferred.
- Skilled in electronic circuit troubleshooting, chiller system knowledge, power supply systems and schematic reading & interpretation.
