UCT is looking for a talented Technician III to join us in Malaysia!

Job Summary:

Calibration technician is responsible for various equipment and measuring tools/gauges and precision measuring equipment are well working condition with undue calibration date to make sure that our manufacturing products are meet Customers & standards of quality and safety requirement. Responsible for performing/coordinates of calibration activities, checks and tests for quality control tools & equipment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Keep track and monitor list of equipment/gauges/metrology tools.
• Perform Calibration Monitoring activities in a timely manner.
• Assist in Internal Calibration lab set up (if any)
• Proactive in performing audit and reporting for all calibration required items
• Deal with tool owners on the calibration of identification and verification.
• Take immediate action against overdue calibration or any violations.
• Interfaces and provides support to other departments, suppliers and customers on quality related issues as necessary.
• Requires the ability to maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Attain positive results and communication through team effort.
• Strong organizational, problem solving, and analytical skills, strong attention to detail.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Performs visual inspection to ensure all quality aspects of the job are met exactly for the Incoming material IDM & DM.
• Raw materials, components, fabricated/manufactured parts & assemblies.
• Generate detailed inspection and nonconformance reports as necessary.
• Checks documents for accuracy and compliance to requirements
• Read and interpret information from engineering drawings, travelers, specifications, and other documents to generate a complete and precise inspection report/record.
• Able to interpret the basic DWG & COC/COT requirement.
• Coordinate MRB for non-compliance materials
• Quarantine / purge for non-compliance materials
• Performs other duties as assigned.
  
  

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Intermediate working knowledge of MS Office applications and database software. Must be computer literate
• Knowledge in LIMBLE software is advantages.
  
  

Educational/Certification Requirement:

• Fresh Graduate Diploma or Degree Holder
  
  

Experience Requirement:

• Work independently with low supervision.
• Good Computer literature with PowerPoint and excels skill.
• Good interpersonal skill.
