TECHNICIAN

Job Responsibilities

• An air conditioning service technician installs, maintains, and repairs cooling, heating, and ventilation systems to keep them running safely and efficiently
• Clean filters and cooling coils, clear drain lines, and check refrigerant levels to improve air quality and save energy
• Test electrical circuits and mechanical parts to find root causes of system failures, then replace faulty components
• Mount new indoor and outdoor units, connect copper piping, and wire electrical controls according to blueprints
• Perform pressure and leak tests, run startup procedures, and ensure all work complies with local building and safety codes
• Plan, schedule, execute and supervise contractors on the daily routine and non-routine O&M works and troubleshooting, as assigned
