Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Technician role based in Melaka. The Technician is responsible for performing routine maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on a range of vehicles in accordance with manufacturer and company standards. Day-to-day tasks include inspecting vehicles, identifying mechanical and electrical issues, replacing or repairing parts, and ensuring all work is completed safely and accurately. The role also involves maintaining workshop tools and equipment, documenting work performed, and collaborating with service advisors and colleagues to provide clear updates to customers. The Technician is expected to follow safety procedures, adhere to quality guidelines, and support continuous improvement in workshop operations.
Qualifications

• Strong technical skills in vehicle inspection, diagnostics, and repair, including basic mechanical and electrical troubleshooting.
• Ability to use standard automotive tools, diagnostic equipment, and service manuals effectively and safely.
• Attention to detail in following service procedures, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring quality workmanship.
• Good communication and teamwork skills to work effectively with service advisors, technicians, and other colleagues.
• Relevant vocational or technical certification in automotive technology or a related field is preferred.
• Previous experience in an automotive workshop or service center is an advantage.
• Commitment to workplace safety, punctuality, and professional conduct in a customer-focused environment.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies, manufacturer standards, and internal processes.
