Your tasks
- Managed end-to-end machine setup, operation, and monitoring to meet rigorous production targets.
- Optimized solder pot temperatures, conveyor speeds, and flux settings to align with specific PCB and component technical requirements.
- Executed comprehensive pre- and post-soldering inspections to guarantee high-quality solder joints and proactively identify defects.
- Maintained wave soldering equipment through scheduled routine maintenance and cleaning to minimize downtime.
- Coordinated the efficient loading and unloading of assemblies using pallets, fixtures, and conveyors.
- Collaborated with process engineers to troubleshoot technical issues and enhance overall soldering performance and yield.
- Follow all ESD-safe practices and IPC-A-610 workmanship standards.
- Adhere to all standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety regulations.
- Education Diploma or equivalent in Electronics, Electrical, Mechanical, or Mechatronics Engineering.
- Experience 1–3 years of proven experience operating wave soldering machinery within an electronics manufacturing setting.
- Technical Expertise Strong understanding of through-hole assembly and soldering principles, including lead-free processes and temperature profiling.
- Quality Standards Working knowledge of IPC-A-610 standards to ensure high-quality soldering output.
- Industry Knowledge General familiarity with SMT (Surface Mount Technology) and overall PCB assembly workflows.
- Technical Literacy Proficient in interpreting assembly drawings, job travelers, and detailed work instructions.
- Soft Skills A collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively within a team environment.
