Technology Associate - Cloud

Job Overview:

We are looking for a high-performing Technology Associate (Cloud & Digital Transformation) to join our Digital team. This role is designed for recent graduates who want hands-on experience building and running secure, reliable cloud platforms that enable business transformation at scale. You will join a structured job rotation program with a cloud-first focus. Your initial assignment will be in an engineering enablement contextbuilding internal tooling and automation that improves how teams ship and operate systemsbefore rotating into broader cloud platform delivery and operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Job Rotation (Cloud-first): Rotate across key digital domains with emphasis on Cloud Platform Engineering / Cloud Operations, plus exposure to DevOps/SRE, security fundamentals, and digital transformation initiatives.

Initial Assignment: Engineering Enablement & Automation: Contribute to internal tools and patterns that improve delivery speed and quality, including:

• Creating reusable templates, scripts, pipelines, and runbooks to standardise delivery
• Building controlled automation workflows that follow team guardrails (approvals, auditability, access controls)
• Integrating with internal systems via safe, standardised interfaces (APIs/connectors) and secure credential handling
• Using modern AI-assisted development tools responsibly to accelerate implementation, refactoring, testing, and documentation

Cloud Platform Delivery: Support provisioning and configuration of cloud resources using standard patterns (preferably Infrastructure-as-Code).

Cloud Operations & Reliability: Assist with monitoring/alerting, incident support, root cause analysis, change/release activities, and platform documentation.

Security & Governance Foundations: Apply security hygiene aligned to team standards (IAM concepts, least privilege, secrets handling, logging/audit considerations).

Project Delivery Support: Track tasks, risks, dependencies, and progress; communicate clearly with stakeholders and keep delivery on schedule.

Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams (IT, business units, and partners) to deliver cloud solutions that meet business needs.

Qualifications:

• Education: Recent graduate with a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering, Data/Analytics, or a related field (or equivalent project-based capability).
• Academic Performance: Strong academic performance preferred. CGPA 3.5 / 2nd Upper is a plus; strong portfolios/internships/hackathons can offset.

Skills:

• Strong problem-solving and systems thinking; learns quickly and delivers consistently.
• Exposure to AWS/Azure/GCP fundamentals (compute, storage, networking, IAM concepts).
• Programming/scripting fundamentals (e.g., Python and/or Bash) and Git.
• Familiarity with modern delivery practices (CI/CD basics, testing mindset, documentation discipline).
• Interest in automation, developer tooling, reliability, and platform operations (observability concepts are a plus).
• Able to communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
