Purpose

This position is responsible for technology enablement tools in the requisition to pay process area. These tools provide for efficient integrated transaction processing with supplier resulting in process automation and efficiencies. The Technology Enablement Specialist supports the Asia and Europe business and works closely with counterparts in North America and South America. This position will assist with on-boarding suppliers to technology platforms consisting of the SAP Supplier Portal and Ariba as well as provide support for our suppliers which streamlines the Requisition-to-Pay (RTP) process. The Role will support training engagements with internal Users of eConnected tools.

Principal Accountabilities

This position is accountable for the following end results:

  • SRM Catalog support including problem analysis
  • Act as an SRM Power User. Includes Role Assignment and End User process support.
  • Develop and support SRM Catalog usage
  • Develop, configure and support electronic procurement tools
  • Contribute and participate in project development for finding improved technology opportunities
  • Provide On boarding support for external Suppliers
  • Collaborate on the completion of Workflows with internal and external partners
  • Provide training and support to internal users of eConnected tools
  • Provide coverage of priority workflows and User support for Technology Enablement Lead
  • Manage internal team resources including Sharepoint site, job aids, training materials
  • Assist with e-Connection Project activities including test plan design and execution
  • Assist with testing related to Catalog development and implementation
  • Troubleshoot End User profile, catalog and eConnected tool errors
  • Regional support processes for process automation tools.
  • Back up and support the Network Connectivity

Minimum Requirements and Qualifications

  • BS Degree holder.
  • Min. 5 years of experience in procurement and Ariba, preferably in Shared Services.
  • Have experience in providing support to Suppliers & Procurement Team, providing training & materials, resolving issues, performing testing for SAP Ariba.
  • Advanced SAP Ariba skills.
  • Demonstrated effective leadership, teamwork and influencing skills.
  • Experience working with and/or leading global and inter-departmental teams.
  • Demonstrated experience working cross functional teams.
  • Strong analytical, attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Understanding of the Requisition to Pay processes.
