Job Description
- Partner with senior business and technology leaders to shape procurement strategies by translating enterprise requirements into robust sourcing and category approaches.
- Define and drive strategic sourcing agendas that optimise total value, balancing commercial performance, risk management, and long-term supplier ecosystem health.
- Provide leadership oversight of Supplier Relationship Management (SRM), ensuring disciplined performance governance, strategic alignment, and value realisation from key partners.
- Champion the continuous evolution of procurement operating models, strengthening governance, controls, and end-to-end process effectiveness.
- Lead high-impact sourcing initiatives, ensuring rigorous commercial evaluation, supplier selection discipline, and contract robustness.
- Act as a trusted advisor to the team, supporting prioritisation, escalation resolution, and execution of critical procurement initiatives.
- Drive functional excellence by identifying structural improvements that enhance procurement capability, scalability, and organisational impact.
- Degree-qualified with at least 10 years of progressive procurement experience, ideally with significant exposure to technology, digital transformation, or indirect spend portfolios.
- Proven track record in leading teams or managing senior procurement professionals within complex, matrixed organisations.
- Deep expertise in strategic sourcing, complex tendering, commercial structuring, and supplier due diligence at enterprise level.
- Strong executive presence with demonstrated ability to influence and negotiate with senior internal and external stakeholders.
- Exceptional business writing capability, with experience producing board-level procurement papers, recommendations, and evaluation reports.
- Highly strategic, self-directed professional with strong judgment, resilience, and the ability to operate effectively in ambiguity and change.
- Familiarity with leading procurement platforms (e.g. SAP Ariba, Coupa, Oracle, Zycus)
- CIPS or CPSM certification is considered highly advantageous.
