What The Role Entails

Tencent Cloud is seeking an experienced Technical Account Manager to support enterprise customers across the Southeast Asia region. This role focuses on post-sales technical ownership, customer lifecycle management, and long-term platform optimization. As a trusted technical advisor, you will work closely with customers to ensure stable operations, continuous improvement, and maximum value realization from Tencent Cloud solutions. You will coordinate cross-functional teams, manage technical escalations, and provide structured advisory support to strengthen customer satisfaction, retention, and expansion opportunities. The role requires strong cloud expertise, proactive stakeholder engagement, and the ability to manage complex production environments across the full customer lifecycle.

Responsibilities:

  • Act as the primary post-sales technical point of contact for assigned enterprise accounts, ensuring operational stability and ongoing technical alignment
  • Partner with customers to understand evolving business and technical requirements, providing architecture advisory, optimization recommendations, and best practice guidance
  • Monitor service health, manage technical escalations, coordinate with internal engineering and product teams, and drive timely resolution of production issues
  • Conduct regular service reviews including performance analysis, cost optimization, capacity planning, and risk mitigation to ensure continuous improvement
  • Support enterprise and government customers during compliance reviews, technical audits, and renewal processes by preparing required documentation and technical justifications

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical discipline
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in public cloud architecture, technical account management, cloud operations, or post-sales technical roles
  • Strong expertise in cloud infrastructure technologies including virtualization such as KVM, Xen, or LxC, along with compute, storage, networking, and security fundamentals
  • Hands-on experience in cloud deployment, migration, system integration, and troubleshooting production-level environments
  • Experience supporting enterprise or government customers with structured documentation and compliance requirements
  • Fluent in English, Chinese Mandarin, and Malay in both written and spoken forms, with strong technical documentation and stakeholder communication skills
