Tendering & Sales Support Engineer

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Tendering & Sales Support Engineer to support sales operations, tender submissions, customer coordination, and project execution within the power distribution industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Review customer RFQs, inquiries, and tender requirements.
• Prepare and coordinate quotations, tender submissions, and supporting documentation.
• Follow up with customers on quotations, tenders, and project progress.
• Coordinate with engineering, sales, factory, and internal teams to ensure timely project execution.
• Support purchase order processing and order fulfillment activities.
• Track project status and provide updates to customers and internal stakeholders.
• Maintain accurate records of tenders, quotations, customer inquiries, and project activities.
• Monitor outstanding opportunities and support sales pipeline reporting.
• Ensure customer requirements are effectively communicated across all relevant departments.
  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Tendering, Proposal Engineering, Sales Support, or Electrical Engineering within the power distribution industry.
• Experience handling RFQs, tenders, quotations, and project coordination.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication in English and Malay.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Customer-focused, proactive, and able to work effectively under pressure.
• Team player with strong follow-up and coordination abilities.

✔ Experience supporting medium-voltage or electrical distribution projects
✔ Strong attention to detail and documentation control
✔ Ability to work cross-functionally with sales, engineering, operations, and customers
✔ Self-motivated with a sense of ownership and accountability

Location Preference: Candidates currently based in or willing to work in Selangor, Klang Valley, Shah Alam, Petaling Jaya, Subang Jaya, Puchong, or nearby areas will be highly preferred.
