The Test Engineer (Advanced Manufacturing) is a strategic technical role responsible for the end-to-end design, development, and deployment of complex automated test systems. This role bridges the gap between software, hardware, and mechanical engineering to deliver high-precision solutions for a world-class MNC. You will operate within an agile environment, leading technical execution for high-impact projects with significant expansion potential.
Key Responsibilities & Activities1. End-to-End System Design & Development
System Integration: Design and develop integrated test system architectures, encompassing software (LabVIEW), hardware instrumentation, and mechanical delivery.
Architecture Definition: Define test plans and requirement specifications that align with complex customer product standards.
Software Engineering: Develop robust test software scripts, sequences, and drivers, primarily utilizing LabVIEW for automated test environments.
Technical Prototyping: Create test cases and specify necessary electronic instrumentation, such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, and spectrum analyzers.
2. Deployment & Platform Management
Validation & Debugging: Lead the verification and validation of test solutions prior to production deployment to ensure zero-failure execution.
Continuous Optimization: Provide ongoing engineering support for manufacturing and drive continuous improvement initiatives for established test platforms.
Platform Adaptability: Maintain the agility to pivot across 23 different client projects, adapting to changing platform requirements as technologies evolve.
3. Agile Leadership & Reporting
Reporting: Conduct daily Agile stand-ups and provide progress reports to the Customer's Technical Lead.
Strategic Collaboration: Partner with external suppliers to ensure outsourced components meet design, quality, and technical requirements.
Technical & Professional Profile

Education: Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or a related field.
Programming Mastery: Advanced proficiency in LabVIEW is mandatory, supported by strong fundamental programming logic.
Experience: Minimum of 1+ years of relevant experience in a manufacturing or test development environment.
Language Proficiency: Ability to read and write in Mandarin is required for technical documentation and communication within the project scope.
Site & Security Compliance
MNC Environment: Ability to work full-time at an established MNC customer site, utilizing their proprietary internal processes and resources.
Confidentiality: Absolute adherence to non-disclosure agreements; all intellectual property remains the property of the customer.
Status: Applicants must be Malaysian citizens or hold relevant residence status.
Instrumentation: Hands-on experience with network analyzers, power meters, and advanced electronic measurement tools.
Analytics: Strong understanding of engineering statistics; experience in Gauge Repeatability and Reproducibility (GR&R).
Electronics: Solid understanding of electronics fundamentals and electrical schematic design.
Adaptability: High flexibility to deliver results in a fast-paced, high-pressure MNC environment.
