Job Description

Position Summary

As a Manufacturing Testing Engineer, you will focus on designing, qualifying, and troubleshooting low- and high-speed electrical test systems, PCB test tooling, and software serialization for high-density ribbon (HDR) cable assemblies, supporting global manufacturing operations and product transfers.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities

• Test Tooling Design & Review: Design test tooling assemblies for first-time builds of cable assemblies; review PCB and fixture designs for HDR cable electrical tests and deliver technical feedback to design teams.

• Process Documentation & Qualification: Create detailed documentation for electrical test workflows; develop, program, and qualify low- and high-speed test programs.

• System Assembly & Support: Collaborate with engineering and automation teams to assemble, debug, and qualify new test equipment; provide hands-on troubleshooting support for production-floor test systems.

• Failure & Root Cause Analysis: Conduct detailed failure analysis on electrical test rejects and partner with global teams to determine root causes.

• Serialization & Tracking: Maintain HDR product serialization systems, creating and configuring part numbers and writing support scripts in tracking software.

• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with control, process, and manufacturing engineers on product transfer projects and ongoing electrical test sustaining improvements.
