Test Engineer

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Possess innovative ideas, analytical skills, and sound technical knowledge to solve the following as a team:
• Quality improvements (visual defects, electrical failures, etc.)
• Productivity improvements (production output, production efficiency, etc.)
• Cost reduction (material changes, energy-saving programs, etc.)
• Be well-versed in identifying and prioritizing key processes for continuous improvement in quality, productivity, and cost reduction.
• Act as a mentor to technicians/operators and provide technical direction to drive continuous improvement projects.
• Troubleshoot non-conforming products to restore and sustain product quality.
• Sustain and continuously improve Key Process Variables (input and output).
• Achieve quality standards and production output targets set by Management.
• Participate in and engage in new equipment setup and qualification.
• Train and certify technicians and technical subordinates in performing their duties.
• Drive improvement projects and lead a team of technicians.
• Generate new ideas and solutions for yield improvement.
• Arrange and follow up on Return-to-Production lots.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's Degree in any Engineering or Science field, or equivalent.
• 23 years of working experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience in production/process engineering will be an added advantage.
• Fresh graduates are also encouraged to apply.
