Join Nokia Fixed Network (FN) Broadband Network Fiber Access R&D team to engage in embedded software testing for telecom PON access products. You will take charge of full-cycle test design, test implementation, defect verification and regression testing for OLT software, optimize test cases and test processes, solve technical problems in project delivery testing, and guarantee the quality and stability of fiber broadband access products for commercial deployment and technical upgrade.

How You Will Contribute And What You Will Learn

  • Responsible for full-cycle testing of Nokia OLT products covering GPON, XGS-PON and 50GPON, including test requirement analysis, solution design, case development, functional, performance and regression testing, as well as test report delivery and quality risk control.
  • Conduct functional verification, OLT/ONU E2E test, stability and compatibility testing for OLT system and service modules, accurately locate software defects and assist Software team in problem analysis and resolution; develop and maintain automated test cases and scripts (ATC) to improve test coverage and automation efficiency.
  • Design and implement specialized testing for clock synchronization functions based on IEEE 1588v2, PTP and NTP protocols to ensure OLT equipment meets telecom network timing specifications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to complete version verification, full defect lifecycle management, regression confirmation and release validation, ensuring stable product iteration and smooth commercial delivery.

Key Skills And Experience

You have:

  • Bachelor or above in Communication, Electronic Information, Computer and other related majors.
  • 2+ years embedded software test development experience, familiar with C/C++ software testing logic and methods.
  • Familiar with basic telecom network principles, able to independently complete test scheme design, case execution and defect troubleshooting for embedded communication products.

It would be nice if you also had:

  • Possess practical testing experience in PON access technology, with good familiarity with OMCI protocol and OLT product architecture as well as relevant service features.
  • Be familiar with standard telecom product testing logic, professional testing methods and industry telecom specifications, and master ATC framework and automated test development skills.
  • Familiar with AI auxiliary programming and testing tools (Cursor, Copilot) is a plus, which helps improve test case writing efficiency and defect analysis capability.
