Summary
Responsible for managing end-to-end testing activities to ensure software quality and compliance with the organization's QA framework. The Test Manager oversees both manual and automation testing teams, ensuring testing is completed within project timelines and meets business and technical requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and manage the overall test strategy, test plan, and QA processes.
- Lead and manage manual and automation testing teams.
- Oversee preparation and execution of test plans, test scenarios, test cases, and test data.
- Ensure testing coverage across functional, integration, system, regression, and end-to-end testing.
- Manage defect tracking, defect triage, and defect resolution with development teams.
- Monitor QA metrics, test coverage, and defect leakage.
- Ensure proper handover from SIT/QA to UAT including test results and defect logs.
- Drive test automation strategy and regression test suite maintenance.
- Conduct test phase reviews, defect analysis, and root cause analysis.
- Ensure testing activities follow company quality standards and procedures.
Requirements
- 812+ years of experience in software testing / quality assurance.
- Experience leading QA teams and managing testing activities.
- Strong knowledge of SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies.
- Experience with testing tools such asJira,Selenium,Appium,Sauce Labs.
- Experience in API testing usingPostmanorSoapUI.
- Knowledge of SQL and database validation.
- Experience in web, mobile, and automation testing.
- Experience in insurance domain (General or Life insurance) preferred.
- Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
