Tester (SharePoint Workflows & MuleSoft) (Offshore Role)
Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled Tester to support end‑to‑end QA activities across SharePoint workflow automation (Nintex and/or Power Automate), SharePoint optimisation enhancements, and MuleSoft workflows that write files to cloud storage.
The Tester will be responsible for developing test cases, executing manual and automated tests where applicable, validating workflow logic, ensuring data integrity, and working closely with developers and business analysts to resolve defects.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop test plans, test scenarios, and test cases for:
- SharePoint workflows (Nintex & Power Automate)
- SharePoint enhancements/optimizations
- MuleSoft workflows integrating with cloud file systems
- Execute functional, regression, integration, and system testing across all relevant components.
- Validate workflow logic, triggers, approval paths, exception handling, and data transformations.
- Perform end‑to‑end data validation, including cloud‑written files produced by MuleSoft flows.
- Log, prioritise, and track defects through resolution.
- Work with workflow developers (Nintex / Power Automate) and integration teams (MuleSoft) to analyse issues and verify fixes.
- Validate cross‑system integrations between SharePoint, MuleSoft, and cloud environments.
- Maintain testing documentation including test evidence, traceability matrices, and reports.
- Support UAT phases by preparing scenarios, guiding users, and capturing feedback.
- Provide regular progress updates and highlight risks/blockers early.
Required Skills & Experience
- 3–5 years of hands-on testing experience (manual testing essential; automation nice-to-have).
- Experience testing SharePoint workflows (Nintex, Power Automate, or both).
- Strong understanding of workflow logic, approval routing, and event triggers.
- Experience validating MuleSoft integrations, APIs, or workflows that involve file movement or cloud storage.
- Ability to perform detailed test analysis, identify defects, and validate root causes.
- Competency in documenting test artefacts and maintaining high‑quality evidence.
- Strong communication skills and comfort working across cross‑functional teams.
Nice-to-Have
- Experience with test management tools (QMetry, Zephyr Scale, Azure DevOps Test Plans, etc.).
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or SharePoint Online).
- Exposure to API testing tools (Postman, SoapUI) for validating MuleSoft endpoints.
- Background in automation testing (Selenium, Cypress, Power Automate test studio, etc.).
