We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Tosca Automation Tester to join our QA team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts, ensuring the quality and performance of mobile and web applications. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Tosca and Appium for mobile applications
- Execute both automated and manual test cases to validate application functionality, usability, and performance
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and QA team members to define test strategies and requirements
- Identify, document, and track bugs and defects using appropriate tools
- Perform regression testing and compatibility testing across multiple devices and platforms
- Maintain and enhance test frameworks and automation tools in alignment with application updates
- Generate detailed test reports, dashboards, and provide actionable insights to stakeholders
- Ensure adherence to QA standards, processes, and best practices
- Stay updated with the latest trends, tools, and technologies in test automation
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 1–5+ years of experience in automation testing, preferably in mobile applications
- Strong hands-on experience with Appium for mobile automation
- Experience working with Tosca automation tool
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript
- Solid understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Experience in manual testing and test case design techniques
- Knowledge of mobile platforms (Android and iOS)
- Experience with Selenium for web automation
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Git, and Maven
- Knowledge of REST API testing using tools like Postman or RestAssured
- Understanding of test management and defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail)
