Trade Marketing Manager (Wine, Spirits, Beer & Non-Alcoholic Beverages)
Albert Wines & Spirits Sdn. Bhd. is seeking an experienced Trade Marketing Manager to lead the planning and execution of trade marketing initiatives across our portfolio of Wine, Spirits, Beer, Premium Waters, Tea and Non-Alcoholic Beverages.
This role bridges our Brand, Sales and Marketing teams to drive retail excellence, strengthen customer partnerships, and deliver sustainable sales growth across Modern Trade, General Trade & HORECA.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute annual trade marketing plans across all beverage categories.
- Plan and manage in-store activations, sampling programmes, promotions, POSM and merchandising campaigns.
- Work closely with Sales Managers and Key Account teams to build customer-specific promotional calendars.
- Coordinate with international brand principals on campaign execution, product launches and brand guidelines.
- Manage trade marketing budgets and evaluate campaign ROI.
- Analyse sales performance, market trends and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities.
- Ensure consistent execution of promotional activities across all retail and on-premise channels.
- Collaborate with Marketing to align digital campaigns with in-store initiatives.
- Oversee production and distribution of POS materials, display units and promotional assets.
- Support new product launches by coordinating sales materials, training and trade activation plans.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business or a related discipline.
- Minimum 4–6 years of experience in Trade Marketing, Brand Marketing or Category Management within FMCG, Wine & Spirits, Beer or Beverage industries.
- Strong understanding of Modern Trade, General Trade and HORECA channels.
- Experience managing trade promotions, merchandising and retail activations.
- Excellent analytical, project management and communication skills.
- Able to work independently while managing multiple brands and projects simultaneously.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; experience with retail sales data and reporting is an advantage.
