The incumbent will be responsible in developing and executing integrated, value-added customer and market specific business/brand building opportunities based on category, brand and consumer insights designed to drive volume, consumption, share and profitability in designated channel(s)/region(s).
Align & support sales and marketing objectives through trade marketing programs with trade customers to strengthen business relationship and work closely with the brand's team in establishing & integrating brand and trade strategy to attain profitable and sustainable brand and channel/regional growth.
Accountable for uncovering key opportunities which impact company portfolio and developing solution-based selling tools and presentations to target those opportunities as well as initiating localize promotional activities in assigned channel(s)/region(s).
Plans consumer focused/ trade / channel / account's promotion (preparation, mechanics, pricing, analysis and post evaluation) including trade and in-store merchandising and distribution programs.
Responsible in ensuring flawless execution of trade plans within the designated channel(s).
Developing trade tools and POSMs for key focused brands for specific channels while measuring ROI to achieve objective set.
Work closely with Regional Sales, Key Accounts and Brand Managers in achieving overall company's objectives across specific channels/territories.
Analyse and comment on brand performance and competitor actions
Support the sales team to ensure the delivery of business target through close support and monitoring of the business
Manage monthly meeting with sales to update on Trade & brand marketing calendar along with plans in accordance to the timeline.
Support Category Management team in terms of space planning efficiencies and planogram development.
Part of the committee to develop Trade Marketing Annual Operation Plan within the given channel.
REQUIREMENTS
Degree holder in Business Studies, Marketing or its equivalent with minimum 7 years working experiences in FMCG companies in various functions(Sales/ Marketing/ Trade Marketing/ Channel Development)
Possess strong planning and analytical skills, good business acumen, excellent communication and negotiation skills, creative, and the ability to operate at the strategic level and meticulous with details.
Proficiency in Nielsen Answers and Kantar WPO
Competency in Microsoft Excel & PowerPoint with analysis capability, understanding of market knowledge, strong selling & presentation skill coupled with strong communication proficiency in both English and Malay would be required.
Must possess valid driving license, own transport and willing to travel.
