Job Description
- Develop and execute trade marketing strategies aligned with brand, category, and commercial objectives.
- Lead category management initiatives including assortment, pricing, promotions, and in-store execution.
- Define and implement channel strategies across Modern Trade, General Trade, and other relevant channels.
- Manage and coach a team of trade marketing executives to deliver strong execution and results.
- Drive effective planning and execution of trade promotions, visibility programs, and shopper marketing initiatives.
- Work closely with Sales, Marketing, and Supply Chain teams to ensure alignment and seamless execution.
- Analyse sales data, market trends, and shopper insights to identify growth opportunities and optimise ROI.
- Oversee trade spend management and ensure efficient use of budgets.
- Monitor competitor activities and market dynamics to strengthen category and channel competitiveness.
The Successful Applicant
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum 7-10 years of experience in Trade Marketing within the FMCG industry in Malaysia.
- Strong experience in category management and channel planning.
- Proven people leadership experience managing and developing teams.
- Solid understanding of retail execution, shopper behaviour, and trade promotions.
- Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment.
