Job Description

  • Develop and execute trade marketing strategies aligned with brand, category, and commercial objectives.
  • Lead category management initiatives including assortment, pricing, promotions, and in-store execution.
  • Define and implement channel strategies across Modern Trade, General Trade, and other relevant channels.
  • Manage and coach a team of trade marketing executives to deliver strong execution and results.
  • Drive effective planning and execution of trade promotions, visibility programs, and shopper marketing initiatives.
  • Work closely with Sales, Marketing, and Supply Chain teams to ensure alignment and seamless execution.
  • Analyse sales data, market trends, and shopper insights to identify growth opportunities and optimise ROI.
  • Oversee trade spend management and ensure efficient use of budgets.
  • Monitor competitor activities and market dynamics to strengthen category and channel competitiveness.

The Successful Applicant


  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum 7-10 years of experience in Trade Marketing within the FMCG industry in Malaysia.
  • Strong experience in category management and channel planning.
  • Proven people leadership experience managing and developing teams.
  • Solid understanding of retail execution, shopper behaviour, and trade promotions.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment.
