Job Description

Company Description

Case Creativity is a corporate reporting agency based in Kuala Lumpur. We write annual reports, integrated reports and sustainability reports for companies listed on Bursa Malaysia.

Our work covers the narrative sections of the report: chairman's and chief executive statements, management discussion and analysis, operational and business reviews, governance sections and sustainability statements. We develop the content structure, build the data templates, interview senior management, and write the book.

We also advise on reporting architecture and disclosure under Bursa's National Sustainability Reporting Framework and IFRS S1 and S2, where most Malaysian issuers are now preparing their first full climate disclosures.

Founded in 2014, we work both directly with listed issuers and as the editorial partner to design and communications agencies. Clients have included Petronas Gas, Khazanah Nasional, Sime Darby Property, RHB, Bank Islam, AFFIN Bank, Takaful Malaysia, PNB, MR. D.I.Y., Farm Fresh, Hong Leong and Dutch Lady.

Role Description

Case Creativity is looking for a Traffic Manager for our reporting season, on a four-month full-time contract from December 2026 to March 2027.

Across a season we take on between 20 and 25 reports. They vary a great deal in size, from jobs that are only a few sections to a full book written from the ground up, and at the peak we have a team of around seven to nine writers working at once. The Traffic Manager's job is to make sure those books are produced in the most efficient way possible with the resources we have, and to give us the best chance of meeting and beating our clients deadlines.

Most of the difficulty lies in making sure the right work is given to the right writer, that every piece of work carries a sensible deadline, and that enough buffer is built in between a writer delivering a draft and that draft being reviewed by the Managing Director and the Head of Content.

In practice, you would identify and assign the right writer for each job, develop the brief, make sure the writer is properly briefed and given clear timelines, and follow up on those timelines. When a draft comes in, you would pass it to the project lead and then onwards to the agency heads for review. You would also manage upwards, which means making sure the heads are reviewing the right content on the right days and giving them early warning when a project is slipping behind.

You would own the season's documentation, which covers production timelines, the resources allocated to each job, the material we are waiting on from clients, and trackers showing the volume of work completed by each writer. You would also run the weekly status meetings.

To be clear about what this role is not, you would not be an editor or a reviewer. The job is to make sure the work is being done properly and reaching the right people for review, not to review it yourself.

No corporate reporting experience is needed. We will train you on the frameworks, the formats and the review cycle. What we cannot teach is the instinct for keeping several deadlines moving at once.

Qualifications

- At least three years of experience in traffic, studio management, project management or production, in an advertising, design, communications or print production environment. Production editors and production coordinators from publishing are also welcome to apply.

- A track record of running several projects at the same time against fixed deadlines.

- Confidence in chasing people who do not report to you, including senior contacts on the client side.

- Strong written and spoken English. Bahasa Malaysia is an advantage.

- Competence with spreadsheets, and with project tracking tools such as Asana, Monday, Trello or similar.

- Good judgement about whether a piece of work is genuinely finished, not just delivered.

- A diploma or degree in communications, marketing, business or a related field is useful, but relevant experience matters more.

Salary & Terms

- The pay is RM6,000 per month.

- The contract is for four months, from 1 December 2026 to 31 March 2027.

- This is a full-time role. Normal office hours, with longer hours expected in February and March, which are our busiest months.

- The role is fully remote. You can work from anywhere, as long as you are available during Malaysian office hours.
