As part of the education team, the Trainer embodies this legacy, inspiring Beauty Consultants to translate Guerlain's heritage and savoir-faire into unforgettable client experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Training Delivery
- Conduct new product launch trainings (Fragrance, Makeup, Skincare) to ensure all Beauty Consultants are confident and aligned with brand messaging and service standards
- Deliver onboarding training for new joiners and refresher sessions for existing members to maintain knowledge consistency and elevate client experience
- Design and deliver engaging, interactive training experiences that reflect Guerlain's luxury standards and cater to diverse learning styles
- In-Store Coaching
- Provide on-the-job coaching to Beauty Consultants, focusing on product storytelling, selling ceremony, and client experience
- Observe in-store performance, identify improvement areas, and provide constructive feedback and guidance
- Partner with Retail Manager to support business objectives through people development
- Training Planning & Coordination
- Support the Education Manager in developing the annual training roadmap and execution plan for Malaysia
- Track and analyze training participation, learning progress, and performance outcomes to ensure training impact and quality
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Retail, Marketing, and the Singapore Education team to ensure seamless alignment and execution
- Brand & Team Development
- Act as a brand ambassador who embodies Guerlain's values of Luxury, Heritage, and Art of Craftsmanship
- Stay updated on brand launches, retail trends, and competitor activities
- Contribute creative ideas to enrich learning experiences and inspire the team's engagement and excellence
- Workshop & Masterclass Expertise
- Conduct client-facing workshops, masterclasses, and brand events, including OOH and in-store activations, in partnership with Retail and Marketing teams
- Deliver inspiring, luxurious, and educational experiences that deepen client engagement and reinforce Guerlain's brand prestige
Requirements
Education & Experience
- Diploma or higher qualification, additional certification in facilitation, training, or adult learning is a plus
- Minimum 5 years experience in training, education, or retail operations within the luxury beauty, cosmetics, or skincare industry
- Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in Fragrance, Makeup, and Skincare
- Proven experience in group facilitation and in-store coaching
- Willingness to travel frequently across Malaysia for training and field coaching
Skills & Competencies
- Excellent presentation and communication skills, able to inspire and influence diverse learners
- Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, and Excel
- Strong interpersonal skills, team spirit, and passion for people development
- Highly organized with attention to detail and a proactive mindset
- Fluent in both English and Mandarin is an advantage
- Passion for luxury beauty and continuous learning
