Purpose of the position

  • To manage, coordinate, administer, and support the delivery of the training plan of both public and in-house training events within the budget.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities

  • Manages administrative systems and procedures required to support the training business to ensure workloads are planned, and the department runs efficiently and delivers to BSI's standards of customer excellence
  • Responsible for HRDF administrative support for training course delivery
  • Responsible for working with the Operations team & external resources to coordinate tutors to deliver the training schedule
  • Work with the Training Business Manager to coordinate efforts between the sales, marketing, and operations
  • Manage the flow of documentation and correspondence of the department's complaints/compliments system
  • Monitor and continually improve the efficiency and effectiveness of all administrative processes
  • Ensure that all contractual relationships with key suppliers are continually reviewed and improved in the interests of BSI and its customers
  • Handling of training operation details in Salesforce
  • Day-to-day support to the operation team, sales teams (Public and In House), and Account teams.
  • Making sure of proper documentation of training records on a timely basis.
  • Timely issuance of training certificates

Knowledge, experience, and qualifications.

  • Excellent organizational skills to control their own workload and that of others
  • Logical and practical approach to problem solving to deal with problems as constructively and swiftly as possible
  • Communicates well to inform, advise, and persuade and has the confidence and ability to deal with a wide range of people and situations verbally and in writing, including highly confidential and sensitive material
  • Good written and verbal communication skills to produce, initiate, and compose routine correspondence
  • Understands the values and benefits of teamwork and can provide support
  • Works on own initiative to manage a varied, often unpredictable, workload
  • Organizes and prioritizes own work and that of others in a pressurised environment with competing demands and tight deadlines
  • Develops, manages, and reviews office systems, especially those required to organise large amounts of paperwork and correspondence
  • Experience with Salesforce.com or other enterprise tool is an added advantage
  • Experience of commercial operations management, preferably commercial events
