What you do
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Assume role as Product Manager to deliver the API, H2H & SWIFT capabilities required to support the business growth and strategy of the Wholesale and SME segments
- Develop and implement connectivity solutions based on customer requirements by creating detailed user stories, coordinating user acceptance testing (UAT), and managing product rollouts.
- Collaborate with local business users, functional specialists, operational teams, and other stakeholders to gather and define comprehensive user requirements and design end-to-end process workflows.
- Operate within an Agile framework alongside regional teams, taking full accountability for the product roadmap and ensuring prioritization of user stories based on stakeholder inputs.
- Manage modification and enhancements of existing products to address emerging business needs, customer demands or regulatory needs
- Lead product pre-launch activities, including securing new product approvals, operationalizing processes, conducting product training, and updating documentation/specifications, while ensuring compliance with BNM and Shariah guidelines.
- Conduct regular market research and competitor analysis to identify trends, new opportunities, and areas for innovation.
- Define and monitor key performance metrics to track benefits realization from product initiatives, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Coordinate with Operations & Technology, client servicing teams, and other departments to resolve service delivery issues promptly, ensuring adherence to service level agreements.
Who you are
- Possess minimum of 5 years of experience in product management or Agile product owner, preferably within banking, financial services, or fintech sectors.
- Proven experience managing API, H2H, and SWIFT products or similar financial connectivity solutions.
- Strong understanding & breadth of transaction banking/ cash management products, processes, and regulatory environments, including BNM and Shariah compliance.
- Demonstrated success in engaging partners to design connectivity solutions with track record of delivering impactful business solutions
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with others and obtain buy-in.
- Analytical mindset with experience in market research, competitor analysis, and benefits realization tracking.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
- Strong business acumen and commercial awareness
- Competency in Agile framework, with familiarity using Jira and Confluence tools
