What You Can Expect

The T&E Specialist is responsible for accurate and timely execution of various T&E tasks in one of the below areas in a dynamic and fast-paced GBS environment. All tasks must be executed in compliance with Zimmer Biomet policies and guidelines.

How You'll Create Impact

  • Perform audit of employee expense reports to ensure accuracy and compliance
  • Review receipts, invoices and supporting documents to make sure expenses are in line with company policy and local tax regulations.
  • Identifying discrepancies, policy violations or potential frauds for further investigations
  • Regularly communicate with employees and compliance team to resolve audit findings and provide necessary corrections or additional documentation
  • Communicate and educate employees on key aspects of the T&E process and Policy changes
  • Identifying potential process improvements, leading or supporting process changes
  • Maintain and update documentation to ensure all T&E compliance related checklist, manuals and procedures are up to date.
  • Monitor and support the posting of failed expense reports in ERP system and support month end processes.
  • Support accounts reconciliation for the month end process
  • Perform daily activities accordingly to SLA's and KPI's established

What Makes You Stand Out

  • Strong preference for experience working in Concur, in a T&E processor capacity
  • Strong preference for experience working in Appzen/Concur Detect or any other expense auditing tool
  • Preference for experience in Accounts Payable/T&E audit
  • Good computer and typing skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Tools. Microsoft excel skills are required, advanced excel skills preferred.
  • Able to work accurately under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Good analytical skills and high attention to detail
  • Strong communication interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with employees at all levels in the organization
  • Positive attitude, proactive and flexible
  • Ability to thrive in remote working environment
  • Language proficiency in English and Japanese is essential.

Your Background

  • Bachelor degree in Finance, Business, Accounting, or a related field
  • 2 Years of relevant work experience or combination of work experience and advanced education
