UAT Manual Software Tester

Location: Jalan Tun Perak, Kuala Lumpur

Job Type: 12-Months & Extendable Contract (Contract Extendibility depends on individual performance and the project availability)

Job Type: Work from Office

Work Schedule: 9 Hours- Normal Day Working Hours (5 days per week)


Description

We are seeking a UAT Software Manual Tester with experience in the banking/ fintech payments domain to join our team in Southeast Asia. The ideal candidate will ensure that our payment applications meet the highest standards of quality and functionality before deployment.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute test cases for UAT of banking payment applications.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into test scenarios.
  • Identify, document, and track defects in the testing process.
  • Participate in UAT meetings and provide feedback on the application's performance and usability.
  • Ensure compliance with banking regulations and quality standards during testing.
  • Report testing progress and results to project management.


Skills and Qualifications

  • 1-5 years of experience in software testing, specifically in UAT or manual testing.
  • Knowledge of Banking/ Fintech payment systems and processes.
  • Proficiency in writing and executing test cases and test scripts.
  • Experience with defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA).
  • Familiarity with testing methodologies and best practices.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
