UFT Test Engineer

Description

We are seeking a skilled UFT Test Engineer to join our team in Southeast Asia. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in software testing and automation, specifically utilizing UFT for functional testing. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of our software products through automated testing and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute automated test scripts using UFT (Unified Functional Testing) for various applications.
• Collaborate with developers and QA teams to understand project requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
• Identify, document, and track defects in the testing process using appropriate tools.
• Perform regression testing to ensure existing functionalities remain intact after changes or enhancements.
• Maintain and update test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
• Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on testability and quality of the code.,
• Assist in troubleshooting and resolving issues found during testing.

Skills and Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in software testing and automation, specifically with UFT.
• Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).
• Proficiency in writing and executing test scripts in UFT and familiarity with VBScript.
• Experience with test management tools like ALM, JIRA, or similar.
• Ability to analyze and interpret complex requirements and translate them into test scenarios.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities, with a proactive approach to collaboration.
