Underwriting Analyst

Job Summary Support in performing system testing, system enhancement and process improvement of the department; support in data analysis and reporting; underwrite life insurance risk according to the concurred authority
Key Responsibilities:
Supports the team in User Acceptance Test (UAT) system testing for new product launch, system enhancement and initiatives as and when required for on-boarding process
Support in improving system automation, projects and initiatives for underwriting department
Support in regular system monitoring, reporting, data collection and data analysis for underwriting department
Underwrite life insurance risks up to the concurred authority
Any other duties as and when deemed necessary
Key Requirements:
Bachelor Degree in Science, Computer Science, Engineering of any discipline, or equivalent
Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
Quick learner with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Has basic biology knowledge is added advantage.
Good interpersonal and communications skills
