Job responsibilities:
- Participate in workshops with market representatives to discuss solution intricacies, provide insights on data prerequisites, and guide them through standard requirement templates
- Work with markets to develop and implement a post-implementation strategy to improve underwriting rules and acceptance rates continually
- Analyze rules for improvements, collaborating with group and market teams to deliver enhancements that add value for customers and drive superior business outcomes
- Help shape user story sessions in markets, collaborating across teams for successful outcomes
- Configure the rulebook to meet requirements, conduct thorough unit testing to validate automated rule accuracy, and ensure a smooth transition from sales to policy issuance for optimal results
Job requirements:
- Minimum 6 years of experience in the Financial Services/Insurance industry; 3 years of experience in underwriting risk management
- Experienced in underwriting processes, automation, and adept at communication, stakeholder management, and relationship building
- Skilled in clearly communicating business requirements with easily understandable acceptance criteria for users, developers, testers, and stakeholders
- Proficient in using data and analytics to track performance, pinpoint issues, and drive effective business outcomes
- Knowledgeable in financial services, insurance operations, and customer experience
