Role Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Support Engineer VMware with strong technical expertise and Mandarin language proficiency to join our support team. The role is contractual and based in Malaysia, providing advanced VMware support to enterprise clients.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide advanced technical support for VMware environments, including troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and performance optimization.
Manage and resolve escalated technical issues from clients in a timely and efficient manner.
Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to resolve complex technical issues.
Document solutions, known issues, and best practices for internal knowledge sharing.
Provide support and guidance in Mandarin for clients requiring language specific assistance.
Assist in training junior support engineers and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications & Skills:
8 10 years of experience in IT support with a focus on VMware technologies.
Strong hands-on experience with VMware vSphere, ESXi, vCenter, and related virtualization technologies.
Experience with cloud platforms (VMware Cloud, AWS, Azure) is a plus.
Proficient in Mandarin (verbal and written) and English.
Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
