Electrical & Electronic Validation Engineer (Fresh Graduate) - Kulim Kedah

Job Summary

We are seeking motivated and enthusiastic Electrical & Electronic Engineering graduates to join the Product Validation team. The engineer will be responsible for validating hardware platforms, silicon products, and system-level solutions through test execution, debugging, data analysis, and validation automation. This role offers hands-on exposure to cutting-edge semiconductor technologies, high-speed interfaces, and validation methodologies throughout the product development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

1. Execute electrical, functional, and system-level validation tests for products and platforms.
2. Perform hardware bring-up, validation, characterization, and debugging activities.
3. Analyze test results, identify failures, and support root cause investigations.
4. Work closely with design, silicon, firmware, BIOS, and software teams to resolve issues.
5. Develop and maintain validation scripts, test plans, and automation tools.
6. Document validation procedures, test reports, and technical findings.
7. Support reliability, compliance, and performance testing activities.
8. Participate in lab setup, equipment calibration, and validation infrastructure maintenance.

Required Skills

• Fundamental knowledge of Electrical & Electronic Engineering principles.
• Understanding of digital electronics, analog circuits, and electronic measurements.
• Basic knowledge of microprocessors, microcontrollers, and computer architecture.
• Familiarity with oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, power supplies, and multimeters.
• Basic programming/scripting skills in Python, C/C++, or Shell scripting.
• Understanding of signal integrity, power integrity, and high-speed interfaces is an advantage.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English, Bahasa and Mandarin to liaise with international stakeholders.

Education & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechatronics, or related disciplines.
• 0-2 years of experience.
• Fresh graduates with relevant academic projects, internships, or laboratory experience are welcome.
• Internship, final-year project, or academic experience in hardware validation, embedded systems, semiconductor testing, or system integration is advantageous.

Preferred Skills / Tools

• Python, C/C++, MATLAB, or LabVIEW.
• Knowledge of BIOS, UEFI, firmware, or embedded systems.
• Familiarity with CPU/GPU, PCIe, USB, SATA, Ethernet, DDR memory, or high-speed protocols.
• Experience using oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, logic analyzers, and JTAG tools.
• Basic understanding of automation frameworks and data analysis tools.
