Vehicle Inspector

About the Role

The Vehicle Inspector is Car Medic's front-line representative for vehicle disposal services. You'll travel to customer locations to inspect vehicles scheduled for disposal, assist with the deregistration process using company systems, perform VIN marking and chassis verification, and support dismantling and logistics operations. Inspectors are assigned to either our AATF (end-of-life vehicles) or PPKM (Pusat Pemeriksaan Kenderaan Motor) operations, but must be capable of performing both.

What You'll Do (AATF)

• Travel to customer locations to inspect vehicles before tow truck collection
• Verify chassis and engine numbers of vehicles scheduled for disposal
• Inspect vehicles arriving at the AATF facility to confirm correct identity before processing
• Photograph vehicles upon arrival using company systems
• Verify vehicle identity before thumbprint scans
• Operate both in the field and at the facility

What You'll Do (PPKM)

• Conduct vehicle inspections at the PPKM centre (Serdang) per government SOPs and JPJ regulations
• Inspect vehicles for ownership exchange, cut & join verification, tint readings, and other regulatory checks
• Document all inspections using company systems
• Ensure all inspections meet JPJ and company standards
